More soccer. More fun. More ways to play.

Playmakers FC now runs Saturday morning soccer sessions for children aged 4–7 at Brighton Secondary College.

Whether your child is completely new to soccer, already comes to Playmakers on Sundays or plays for a local club, they’re welcome to join the fun.

Our Saturday sessions combine warm-up activities with coached small-sided matches, giving children plenty of time on the pitch to play, build confidence and make friends.

No previous soccer experience is needed, just bring your child’s energy and enthusiasm!

Saturday Soccer is open to:

- Children trying soccer for the first time

- Existing Playmakers FC families

- Brighton SC U5 and U6 players

- Children who play for other local clubs

- Kids who simply want more time on the pitch


Your child doesn’t need to be a Brighton SC player or have any previous soccer experience to join.

- 7, 14, 21 & 28 November

(no session 31 October, Cup Weekend)

Term 1 2027 (7 sessions)

- 30 January

- 6, 13, 20 & 27 February

- 13 & 20 March
(no session 6 March, Labour Day Weekend)

Session time: 9am - 10am, please arrive 5 minutes before

Program options:

- Term 4 only $200

- Term 4 & Term 1 $360 (billed at $180 per term)

Both sessions offer the same welcoming Playmakers environment, but the format is slightly different.

Saturday Soccer

Saturday sessions include warm-up activities followed by coached small-sided matches.

They’re ideal for children who want plenty of game time, opportunities to play with others and a full hour of Saturday morning soccer.

Sunday Soccer

Sunday sessions focus on soccer skills, games and individual development through a flexible, play-based format.

They’re ideal for beginners and developing players who want to build their skills and confidence while having fun.

Sundays, 10:00am–10:45am

who can join saturday soccer?

Saturday Soccer is open to children aged 4–7.

We welcome complete beginners, existing Playmakers, Brighton SC players, children from other clubs and anyone who simply wants to play more soccer.

does my child need to play for brighton soccer club?

No. Saturday Soccer is open to all local children aged 4–7.

Playmakers FC is partnering with Brighton SC to deliver its Post-Season Series during these sessions, but your child doesn’t need to be a Brighton SC player to join.

does my child need soccer experience?

Not at all. Our coaches create a fun and supportive environment where children can participate at their own level.

We’ll help your child understand the activities, join the games and build confidence as they play.

how are saturday sessions different from sunday sessions?

Saturday sessions combine warm-up activities with coached small-sided matches, giving children more time to experience game play.

Sunday sessions focus on soccer skills, games and individual development through fun, play-based activities.

Both sessions are welcoming, supportive and designed to help children build confidence and enjoy soccer.

can my child attend both saturday and sunday?

Yes! Children are welcome to attend both sessions if they’d like even more soccer.

Please check your registration or package inclusions when booking.

what does my child need to bring?

Please bring:

- Comfortable sports clothing

- Runners or soccer boots

- Shin guards

- A hat

- A clearly labelled drink bottle

Plenty of enthusiasm!

is there a uniform?

No formal uniform is required. Comfortable sports clothing is perfect.

what happens if it rains or is too hot?

Sessions may be modified, moved, postponed or cancelled if heavy rain, lightning, extreme heat, poor air quality or other conditions make play unsafe.

Parents will be notified by email or WhatsApp as early as possible if arrangements change.

can siblings share a pass?

This will depend on the package selected. Please check the package details when registering or contact Playmakers FC if you’re unsure.

how will parents stay updated?

Important information, weather updates and session changes will be sent by email or WhatsApp using the contact details provided during registration.

Do coaches have Working with Children Checks?

Yes. All Playmakers FC coaches hold current Working with Children Checks and are committed to creating a safe, positive and inclusive environment for every child.

where can parents get good coffee before soccer?

Playmakers FC are proudly partnered with Brother Brew Cafe, drop into see Jonty and Ness for great coffee, delicious breaky or lunch at 763 Hawthorn Road, Brighton East. They also do catering, check out their website for more information.
